This blog started as a way to keep my friends informed about what I’ve been up to as I move around the world teaching English. I began to write a few political and philosophical entries every now and then until those became more prevalent than the personal stuff. Politically, I’m a liberal who used to be a conservative. Philosophically, I’m an atheist who used to be a Christian. Both things should indicate that I have an open mind and respect for other points of view, although I won’t hold back on a rant when I’m sure I’m right.
